Cool at last…

The weather finally cooled today.  It didn’t even make 25C.  This made me a happy girl, but I keep feeling surprised every time I walk outside and don’t get hot.

I actually have jeans on, and a shirt over my top, just to keep my arms warm because of the cool breeze coming in through my window.

All I can say about this is, it’s about time.   I usually don’t mind the heat but this heatwave had no relief, even at night.  I’m looking forward to being able to use my quilt tonight.  And wear pants to work!

It’s getting closer

My birthday, that is.

Here are my plans: 1) go out to dinner with some buddies the night before, then have some drinks.  Unfortunately, it can’t be as late or drunksy a night as I originally hoped because of plan number 2, which is to have a family do at home, complete with lamb on a spit!  Yes!  Mr Vexation has been hanging out for my dad to do a lamb on the spit and he’s had to wait 3 and a half years for it.  I’ve been hanging out for my dad to do another lamb on the spit since my 21st birthday, so I’ve been waiting longer.

Gotta love lamb.  Now the only dilemma I have is that as my dinner is being held at a Greek restaurant, do I resist the urge to eat their yummy lamb?

Hello world!

This must be my third or fourth attempt at blogging.  Up until now I have had little time thanks to stupid uni, but hopefully that part of my life is now over.  I’m waiting on grades but hopefully I will graduate and won’t have to worry about that again.

I suppose this blog will be a place just to think about … stuff.  A place for me to vent.  And, if I ever bother to go again, a place for me to put up sim stories.  Although, for that last one to work I will have to remember to take photos of my sims as they go about their little lives.

And now, I will take some time out to think about what I want to write about
